Vocalist Juliet Russell and cellist, Sarah Moody come together as Atmos to create powerful vocals and evocative strings with a percussive edge. 

 

Atmos’ original sound is inspired by the Balkans, Africa, Middle East and Celtic traditions. Using loopers, they layer up rich harmonies and compulsive rhythms to create an unforgettable heart opening experience. Their ambient sound and simple set up makes ATMOS as suitable for on stage performances as it is for site specific, nature environments and churches.

 

Russell and Moody’s work has been heard across the World from the rooftop of the National Theatre to the Bollywood film scene in Kampala. Performing in festivals, football stadiums, castles, theatres and cathedrals. 

 

Having first collaborated in 1994,  Juliet and Sarah reunite after 25 years of performing and composing music for film, theatre, dance, storytelling, and mass outdoor spectacles.​​​
